My business idea is to create a shop that would take your old garment and use the fabric of your old garment create to a new one.
The customer would come into the shop with for example a dress. And would give us to one of the staff in the shop the staff with then give the customer a questionnaire. The customer will have to answer the questionnaire in order for us to create a new garment that would suit the customer’s desire.
In order to make it more personal, in the questionnaire, there will be a question where we ask this customer if they want us to customize their garments. Which means we can paint on the garment. Add accessories to make it more glamorous or fun.
The good point about the questionnaire is that the staff will have the ability to create what they want with the answers of the customer. For the customer, it will be a fun and innovative gift due to the fact that they don’t really know what they will be getting. It is a bit like a mystery box.
The creation of the new garment will be taking a maximum of 2 weeks.
The staff of the shop would only be new fashion designers or students studying fashion. The reason why is that new the new talent will be having the chance to prove their talents to the world.
Economically spoken we will only charge the service we give which means the creation of a new garment. The tailoring parts would cost a minimum of 10 pounds and a maximum of 70 pounds.
10% of our incomes will go to charity. A charity that supports sustainable fashion.
This new business idea is great because of a couple of facts. The first one would be that it’s 100% sustainable respects the rights of the planet. Secondly and caves your old garments new life. Thirdly it would give new fashion designer students a chance to explore their creativity and talent.
