In session 6 we focused on the analysis of our customer profile. we created a customer profile chart. But first, we pick a product and explained why it was interesting for the customer. We looked at the different prices of backpacks, from different brands. We as well analyzed if the product was sold in-store or online. There was a different range of brands going from Dior to Primark. This fact allowed us to see the difference in brand and see what type of customer would buy this item, and the use they make out of it.
The first task of the class was to work in pairs and pick a backpack. Jason and I choose to analyze the Primark backpack. we thought that this backpack was a great investments for a student since the price range is pretty low. In addition to this, the backpack also is good for someone who just needs a backpack for use and not the style.
The second part of the class was mainly focused on the product we created suitable for our customer. to be able to do this we created a target customer board. In the customer chart, we included things such as the customer’s hobbies, an interest, lifestyle the social media they follow and use, the age range, incomes, as well as their status.
After creating the customer profile chart, we needed to create the layout of the customer profile. The layout is I created represents perfectly my customer. An adult but still a child inside, which is bold and extravagant, full of joy.
After the break, we went back in our pairs and exchanged our customer profiles to get feedback from each other. I really enjoy doing getting feedbacks from my class mads it was helpful and fair. It made me see things from another perspective.
Creating this customer profile with an aesthetic layout made me develop my digital skills and it allowed in-depth with my digital creativity. Getting and giving feedback from my class made allowed me to develop and use my critical skills since I had to analyze what was good and what needed improvement in my customer profile and one of the people, I was giving feedback to. I believe that this was my favorite part of the class because I was able to match ideas with the comments the other person was giving me and create something from a perspective I did not think of. Such as changing the background of my layout. In order to make it more fun and colorful.
